The Bureau of Indian Standards, BIS, has declared the BIS Result 2024. This is one of the most important results to be declared for the candidates who have appeared in the recruitment exam for Groups A, B, and C. Candidates can check their results from 20 December 2024. Candidates would be able to download their marks on the BIS website.

The BIS organized the OMR-based written examination on 19 and 21 November 2024. Under this recruitment exercise, 345 posts were to be filled up. In this recruitment, Asst. Section Officer (ASO), Personal Assistant, Stenographer, Assistant Director, Technician, and Senior Technician were available. For this examination, as many as 44,690 candidates put up. This recruitment drive was to make the work of BIS stronger by introducing suitable candidates at a significant place in the organization.

How to check BIS Result 2024 for A, B, C Groups

BIS Examination has appeared by candidates can check their respective results online too. All the candidates can check their results through the official website of BIS while visiting www.bis.gov.in. They have to log in to the home page and look for “Career Opportunity.” Then they should click on “Recruitment Advt./Result.” In this, when they click on the link named “Marks Secured by Candidates in the On-Line Exam Held On 19 November 2024 and 21 November 2024,” they can see his result. And the candidates have to download them for further use.

BIS 2024 Selection Procedure

BIS Groups A, B, and C have multiple-stage selection. Performance-based test in written exam for all candidates. Only those candidates qualifying in the said examination are called for a skill test as well as for an interview. All candidates from the general category will have to attain a minimum mark of 50 percent for the selection process next stages. Whereas OBC candidates and SC/ST/PWD need a minimum of 45 to 40 percent to qualify.
