The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) scorecards today. This is for the December 2024 session. Downloading the scorecard is a simple process. Firstly, one can visit the official NBEMS website. Candidates can go to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) website. This is to avail the scorecard. They should go to the home page.
Next, they should find the FMGE scorecard link. Moreover, candidates should look for the link related to the FMGE scorecard. This is for December 2024. It will be on the homepage. They can log in using their data.
Also, candidates should log in using their credentials. Furthermore, they can view their scorecard. After logging in, the scorecard will appear on the screen. Finally, they can download and print the scorecard. The correct scorecard should be downloaded and printed by the candidate. This is for future reference.
The students that took the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) in December 2024 will download their scorecards using the link that we have posted below. The candidates will be given the chance to see their scores by using the User ID and Password downloaded by them.
The NBEMS has withheld the results of seven candidates. This action is pending due to ongoing investigations. The NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee is holding the investigations. Moreover, these cases involve unfair means. These include court matters or security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
It is integral for candidates to know if any ineligibility is found. This can be at any stage of the FMGE process. Hence, the candidature will be cancelled. This can happen even if the results are announced. Moreover, this can happen even if a pass certificate has been issued.
FMGE 2024
The FMGE is a mandatory licensing exam for Indian students. This is for those who earn their MBBS degree from abroad. Thus, it allows them to practice medicine in India. Moreover, the exam tests their medical knowledge and skills. This is to ensure that they meet the minimum standards. These are required to practice medicine in the country.
The subject experts at NBEMS reviewed the exam questions before announcing the results. This was done for accuracy. Also, they found one question incorrect. Thus, all candidates received full marks for that question. This is regardless of whether they attempted the question or not. Candidates should note that FMGE scorecards cannot be used for registration. This is with a state medical council.
Pass Certificates
NBEMS will distribute pass certificates in person. This will be done after verifying the identity and credentials. The schedule for the distribution will be announced separately. The result of the FMGE December 2024 is also subject to in-person verification of identity. If NBEMS detects any candidate’s ineligibility later on, their candidature will be cancelled.
