This card will provide additional benefits to students in their whole Academy career providing scholarships, rewards, and other credits. All their Academy data will be electronically transmitted in their APAAR ID. Now, students studying in school or college first have to enroll for a Nation ID card. Furthermore, they register after visiting the official website abc.gov.in.

The Automated Permanent Academy Account Registry (APAAR) ID cards are digital ID cards for students studying in various government or private schools in colleges all over India. The Government of India and the Ministry of Education have launched these cards so that students can collect their academic credits easily. Moreover, they can also get their degrees and various information digitally. 

APAAR ID will track students’ academic achievement and their journey. This is a lifelong ID number and will also help students to transfer from one school to another without facing any difficulty. How to Apply for APAAR ID Online 

To apply for an APAAR ID, students must have a valid Aadhar card. Moreover, students must have their accounts on DIGilocker so that they can be used later for e-KYC. Furthermore, consent from parents is the most important factor. Schools can only proceed to create a student’s APAAR ID after their parent’s consent. The process to apply for APAAR ID are:

  • First, visit the official website of the academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank) i.e., abc.gov.in.
  • Now select the “student” option after clicking on “my account”.
  • Click on the signup option. Provide all necessary details like mobile number address and Aadhar card details. After that digilocker account will be created.
  • Now, log in to Digilocker by providing all the necessary information. 
  • After that digilocker will take your Aadhar Card details along with ABC for KYC verification. Here select the “I agree” option.
  • Now, enter various details like school or college name, course, Class student name, etc. 
  • Lastly, submit the application and an APAAR ID will be generated.

How to Download the APAAR ID Card 

After creating an APAAR ID, candidates have to follow steps to download the APAAR ID Card:

  • First, visit the official website of the academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank) i.e., abc.gov.in.
  • After visiting the homepage click on the APPAR ID or ABC ID download option.
  • One will see their APAAR ID Card on the screen
  • Now, we can download and print their APAAR ID Card.
  • Lastly, they can print their downloaded APPAR ID Card.

What are the Benefits of an Automated Permanent Academy Account Registry (APAAR ID Card)?

APAAR ID Card works as an identification card for students. Allows them to track their Academy career and different achievements. 

  • One Nation One student ID card will store students’ academic data like: learning outcomes, health cards, report cards, exam results, extracurricular achievement, rankings in different olympiads, special skills, etc.
