Indian Army Agniveer 2025 Educational Qualification

2. Agniveer Technical (All Arms)

  • Must have passed 10+2 in Science (PCM + English) with at least 50% total marks and 40% in each subject.
  • Other eligible qualifications include:
  • 10+2 from a recognized board (NIOS included)
  • ITI course (minimum 1 year) with NSQF Level 4 or higher
  • Class 10 pass with 50% marks + two-year ITI/diploma in a relevant field

3. Agniveer Office Assistant / Store Keeper (All Arms)

  • 10+2 in any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science) with at least 60% total marks and 50% in each subject.
  • Should have at least 50% marks in English, Mathematics, Accounts, or Book Keeping in Class 12.

4. Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) – 10th Pass

  • Class 10 passed

No Percentage shall be required, however should have at least 33 % marks in each subject.

5. Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) – 8th Pass

  • Must have passed Class 8.
  • No total percentage required, but must score at least 33% in each subject.

6. Agniveer General Duty (Women) – Corps of Military Police

  • Must have passed Class 10 with at least 45% total marks and 33% in each subject.
  • Nationality & Domicile Requirements
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens or Nepalese nationals.
  • A domicile certificate with a photograph issued by the Tehsildar or District Magistrate is required.

Physical Standards (Height, Weight & Chest)

The Army Agniveer 2025 fitness test includes height, weight, running, and strength requirements.

For Male Candidates:

1.6 km run

  • Group 1 (within 5 min 30 sec) – 60 marks
  • Group 2 (within 5 min 45 sec) – 48 marks

Pull-ups:

  • 10 pull-ups – 40 marks
  • 6 pull-ups – 16 marks

Minimum Height Requirements for Males (Region-wise):

  • Western Himalayas (J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand) – 163 cm
  • Eastern Himalayas (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, etc.) – 160 cm
  • Western Plains (Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi) – 170 cm
  • Eastern Plains (UP, Bihar, West Bengal) – 169 cm
  • Central Region (MP, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra) – 168 cm
  • Southern Region (AP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala) – 166 cm
  • Chest requirement: 77 cm (with expansion)

For Female Candidates:

  • Minimum height – 162 cm

1.6 km run

  • Group 1 (within 7 min 30 sec)
  • Group 2 (within 8 min)

10-foot long jump & 3-foot high jump required.
