What Is The Normalisation Process?
The JEE Mains examinations are always conducted in different sessions. The difficulty levels of these sessions also vary. Hence, the authorities from the National Testing Agency have introduced the normalisation process. NTA will release the normalised percentage of the candidates who have scored marks that are equal to less than the highest scores of that particular session. Following is the formula in use for the normalisation.
Normalisation Formula = (100 × number of candidates with scores less than or equal to the highest scores of that particular session) / total number of candidates who appeared in that particular session.
JEE Mains Result 2025: How Is Percentile Calculated?
The National Testing Agency will release the percentile list for the candidates soon after the results declaration. The following are the methods in use for the calculation of the percentile.

JEE Mains Result 2025: No Revaluation
The National Testing Agency does not provide any provisions for the re-checking or the revaluation of JEE Mains. Hence, the results, once declared, will be considered final for all the candidates who appeared for the examination. There is no facility for checking the examination results through name either. The candidates can download the scorecards for the JEE Mains examination only through the application numbers as well as the birth date.
